GFL Environmental is searching for a Maintenance Mechanic for our Winnipeg, MB facility. This evening role (2:30-11:00 pm) focuses on preventive maintenance and equipment repairs. As a Maintenance Mechanic, your primary responsibility includes conducting preventive maintenance and managing breakdown repairs on recycling equipment.

You will utilize GFL’s company software for documentation while ensuring adherence to safety standards. Your efforts will directly contribute to the smooth operation of our facility. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct daily maintenance on recycling sorting equipment
- Complete and track maintenance records efficiently
- Assist in significant repair tasks alongside team members
- Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery
- Oversee parts inventory management Requirements:
- Experience with machinery diagnostics and repairs
- Basic welding and fabrication knowledge
- Familiarity with working at heights and operating lifts
- Competency in documenting repairs using software
