Are you comfortable working with wood, using saws and building from measurements or drawings?

C J Pink Ltd. is looking for a Woodworker / Framing Carpenter to join our production team. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in wood framing, carpentry, construction, or practical woodworking who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in building things accurately.

You don’t need previous precast concrete experience. If you have solid basic woodworking skills, can use common shop tools safely, and are comfortable working with measurements and basic drawings, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

You’ll help build, maintain and repair the wooden forms used to manufacture precast concrete products. Your work will include:

- Building wooden forms and molds using lumber, plywood, measurements and drawings
- Measuring, marking, cutting, fitting and assembling wood materials
- Using table saws, mitre saws, jig saws, circular/skill saws, drills and other common woodworking tools
- Repairing, modifying and reinforcing existing forms
- Checking forms for damage, alignment and accuracy
- Preparing, cleaning and maintaining forms for continued production use
- Working with production employees and supervisors to complete work safely and on schedule
- Keeping your work area clean, organized and safe

What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone with practical, hands-on woodworking ability. Relevant experience could come from framing, wood framing, carpentry, construction, woodworking or a similar hands-on environment.





You should have:

- Previous experience with basic woodworking, framing or carpentry
- Confidence using a table saw, mitre saw, jig saw, circular/skill saw and drills
- Ability to accurately use a tape measure
- Comfort with basic math including addition, subtraction and fractions
- Ability to understand and work from basic drawings or blueprints
- Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- A strong commitment to safe work practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work involving standing, bending and reaching
- Reliable transportation to and from work

Previous precast concrete or form-building experience is an asset but is not required. Hours, Pay and Benefits

- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Day shift: 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Overtime may occasionally be required in the evenings or on weekends
- Starting wage: $25.30 per hour
- Wage increases to $27.15 per hour after successful completion of the 3-month probationary period
- Benefits available after successful completion of probation
- Pension eligibility after two years of service
- Unionized position





Work Setting This is a hands-on manufacturing position in a precast concrete production facility. You’ll work around machinery and equipment and may be exposed to dust, noise and changing temperatures.
