Duties

- Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and according to plans and specifications
- Lead and motivate construction crews, providing clear direction and support to maximize productivity and safety
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide onsite work effectively
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations
- Oversee safety protocols on site, enforce compliance with worksafe regulations, and conduct regular safety meetings




- Collaborate with project managers on scheduling adjustments, procurement needs, and resolving onsite issues

Skills

- Proven supervising experience in a civil construction environment with strong leadership capabilities
- Extensive civil construction experience
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and understanding construction estimating processes
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and safety standards within the construction industry
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Familiarity with using construction schematics for troubleshooting and planning purposes
