Make a difference at the YMCA of Southeast Alberta as a Youth Behavioral Specialist in the Back on Track Program. This role is dedicated to fostering youth success through personalized support and developmental strategies. This full time, temporary position operates at 37.5 hours per week until June 25, 2027, under the supervision of the Director of Community Programs.

Ideal candidates will have a diploma or degree in a relevant field, along with 2-3 years of experience in youth intervention. You will actively plan and implement programs that promote healthy development and behavior. Key Responsibilities:

- Implement strengths-based interventions with youth
- Organize and lead various youth activities
- Deescalate complaints and manage difficult situations
- Provide excellent customer service and case management
- Uphold Alberta's Child Care Act and standards Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Social Work or related field
- 2-3 years' relevant experience in interventions
- Child Development Certificate (preferred)
- First Aid and CPR certification required
