About the Role:

- Join our small and nimble engineering team at TuneZilla, an ECU tuning company specializing in vehicles from VAG (Volkswagen Auto Group), Mercedes, BMW, and more.
- Work in our office in Cloverdale Surrey to develop, test, and maintain ECU protocols, focusing on the nuances and complexities of vehicle communication.
- Support other teams by lending expertise and assisting with technical issues.
- Contribute to more advanced in-house tool development and ECU tuning strategies.

About You:

- Qualifications (Best to have):
- Strong background/experience with C programming.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Quick learner with a passion for technology.
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Preferred Experience (Nice to haves):
- Experience with software testing.
- Knowledge of C++ and Python programming languages.
- Experience in technical support, customer service, and/or investigative testing.
- Experience with electronics (e.g., bench power supplies, testing equipment).
- Knowledge of, or experience with vehicle communication protocols (e.g., ISO9141, ISO15765, CAN bus, etc).
- Experience with software deployment (Jira, SCRUM), and source control methodologies (git).
- Additional Experience (Bonus):
- Interest in aftermarket tuning of vehicles/engines.
- Experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Experience with electronic circuit design and manufacturing (e.g., embedded microcontrollers).
- Experience with embedded programming (C/C++/Micropython).




- Experience with reverse engineering and cryptography.
- Experience with low-level programming languages like Assembly.
