The Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department located at our corporate headquarters in Watertown, NY.

Salary: $24.35 per hour, increasing to $25.85 within 6 months.

Responsibilities

The HR Assistant will assist with tasks including:

- General administrative tasks and provides clerical support to the Human Resources department at Corporate and Manufacturing Facilities.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resources files and records.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resources files and records.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, advantages, and hiring processes.
- Assist in the screening of applicants and scheduling of interviews.




- May assist with payroll functions including timecards, answering employee questions, and fixing timecard errors.

Requirements

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one (1) year of office experience required.
