Acden Base Operators is seeking a Seasonal Airport Heavy Equipment Operator for its Firebag team in Fort Mackay. Work towards maintaining the airport's safety and cleanliness with a versatile 4 days on, 3 days off rotation.

This full-time seasonal position involves operating heavy equipment to perform essential duties related to snow and ice control as well as maintaining airfield surfaces. Successful candidates will have a Heavy Equipment Operator Certification and previous aviation industry experience along with excellent compliance capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute snow and ice control both sides of the runway
- Maintain and clean airport surfaces and drainage systems
- Operate designated heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and guidelines
- Monitor environmental impacts and wildlife control measures

Requirements:

- Heavy Equipment Operator Certification required
- 3-5 years experience in aviation required
- Class 1 or 3 with Q Endorsement driver's license
- Willingness to travel and complete security checks
- Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs
