The City of Prince Albert is hiring Collection/Distribution Labourers in the Public Works Department. This full time role focuses on the maintenance and repair of water and sewer systems.

As a Collection and Distribution Labourer, you will be managed by the Water and Sewer Manager and involved in significant maintenance tasks. Your duties will include utilizing various tools for system cleaning, maintaining safety standards, and assisting in construction operations. Emphasizing safety and efficiency is critical in maintaining vital city infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:



• Perform various laboring tasks related to water system maintenance • Operate equipment for system thawing and flushing • Assist in repairs and isolation during construction • Keep detailed logs of maintenance work performed • Ensure compliance with safety regulations

Requirements: • High school diploma and current Driver's License • Ability to obtain 3A Driver’s License within two months • Complete qualifications within six months • Knowledge in hand tools and construction materials • Comfort in a hazardous working environment
