Financial Controller We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and strategic Financial Controller to lead and oversee the company’s accounting and financial reporting functions. Reporting to the VP, Finance , the Financial Controller will provide leadership across the accounting function, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, effective financial controls, timely month-end and year-end close processes, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations. The successful candidate will be a hands-on financial leader with strong technical accounting expertise, analytical capabilities, and a proven ability to lead and develop an accounting team. The Financial Controller will partner closely with senior leadership on financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow management, financial analysis, process improvements, and broader business initiatives. This is a full time, in-office position in Downtown Toronto , conveniently located near King and Union Station. CPA designation is required.



Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee the accounting and finance function, including Accounts Payable, Intermediate Accountant, and Senior Accountant responsibilities. Provide leadership, direction, and support to the accounting team while ensuring accurate and timely completion of all accounting activities. Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and financial analysis. Own and manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all reporting deadlines are consistently achieved. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the company’s financial records and reporting. Develop, maintain, and continuously strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies, including IFRS and ASPE . Review and oversee balance sheet reconciliations, including
