2027 Winter Student Program- Administrative Student

Are you looking for a role where organization, communication, and teamwork come together? Can you see yourself supporting multiple departments by coordinating administrative activities and keeping things running smoothly? As an Administrative Assistant within the Gentilly-1 Decommissioning team, you’ll provide essential support to department offices, gain valuable hands‑on experience, and play a key role in day-to-day operations. Duration: 4 Months (January - April)
Field of Study: Business/Office Administration
Year of study: 1st or 2nd year

What will you be doing!

- Organizing, scanning, assembling, editing, and formatting work control documentation and other materials to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Providing administrative assistance to staff within assigned departments, including composing, formatting, and issuing correspondence.
- Supporting management with general administrative tasks and coordination activities.
- Maintaining hard copy and electronic filing systems to ensure efficient document storage and retrieval.
- Assisting with a variety of administrative duties across Environmental Remediation Management department offices as required.
- Other duties as assigned by your manager.

What we are looking for:

- Education
- Being enrolled in a college diploma or university degree program in Business Administration,



Office Administration, Environmental Studies, or a related field.

- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills for providing information services and responding to customer inquiries.
- Proficiency with computer software, including Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Robust organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Reliable internet connectivity to support remote access, as required.

- Security Clearance Eligibility Required

- Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3-5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and/or the United Kingdom. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat's “Standard on Security Screening” and the “Policy on Government Security.”
