We are seeking an Engineering Student, for ourToronto District, working inTrenton, within our Canadian Buildings Division that are available for4 or 8 monthsstarting in January 2027.

As anEngineering Studentyou will have the chance to contribute to our team by:

Responsibilities

• Coordinating drawings,work specific scope / trades,trade quote reviews – verify material quantities, verify hours, verify rates, deficiency walks etc


• Participating in project meetings,


• Inputting / Updating deficiency logs and issuing warranties


• Taking / Coordinating progress photos, and updating field drawings


• Producing as-built drawings


• Performing quantity takeoffs, coordinatingand supervising sub-trade work and


• Verifying site conditions and coordinating with drawings


• Setting-up / Maintaining record keeping


• Layout site lines and grades using total station


• Creating manual schedules,updating schedules using Primavera P6 EPPM software,maintaining graphical scheduling using AutoCAD.






• Obtaining scheduling information from sub-trades and updating project schedules


• Monitoring workforce productivity

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.


• Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.

The estimated hourly range for this role is $21.37- $31.33, based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
