About the opportunity
The Business Development Representative II (BDR II) is a critical role and extension of our direct sales force. The BDR II is an experienced business development professional, typically bringing 3+ years of relevant prospecting, business development, or sales experience. The BDR II is responsible for generating sales-qualified leads from scratch, developing strategic account engagement plans, and initiating conversations with decision makers that result in scheduled meetings with members of the Dayforce Sales team or attendance at Dayforce-sponsored events. The BDR II creates appointments for the Dayforce direct sales team through daily outbound prospecting, including targeted telephone, email, webinar, social media, face-to-face event, and tradeshow initiatives. In addition to consistently delivering against individual goals, the BDR II is expected to demonstrate strong territory management, advanced prospecting judgment, and the ability to navigate complex buying groups and longer sales cycles. The BDR II should communicate effectively in both written and oral form, actively listen to others’ ideas and perspectives, and possess the organizational skills needed to accomplish daily work goals. Documenting and tracking activity in our CRM system and using our marketing automation tools are integral to this job. A key to success is the ability to build credible connections with prospects that result in qualified sales conversations. Some travel may be required for corporate and sales team meetings. This posting represents an ongoing opportunity within our organization. While there may not be an active vacancy at this time, we encourage interested candidates to apply. Applications will be reviewed periodically and retained for future openings. What you'll get to do

Use direct mail content and other targeted outreach to engage priority prospects, followed by coordinated email, social, and phone outreach to generate interest in exploring a partnership with Dayforce. Conduct territory analysis and gap identification across contacts,
vendor information, employee count, account coverage, and buying signals, then create and execute plans to close identified gaps.
