Help drive community integration with Options Community Services as an Adult Inclusion Worker. This rewarding role focuses on empowering adults with developmental disabilities through essential skills on an on-call basis.
In collaboration with the Program Manager, you will assess individual needs and develop strategies for social competence and independence. Your work will involve facilitating community engagement activities, maintaining meticulous records, and completing progress reports in line with accreditation standards. Active participation in team dynamics and a commitment to safety and confidentiality are crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess clients' needs to tailor support effectively
• Develop and implement community engagement strategies




• Monitor participant progress with detailed reporting
• Participate in team activities fostering collaboration
• Ensure confidentiality and conduct vehicle inspections
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in a relevant field required
• Experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities
• Must have a valid First Aid Certificate
• BC Class 4 Driver’s license preferred
• Police Information Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required
