Job Description The Opportunity Do you take pride in creating clean, protected, and welcoming spaces? As a Housekeeping Aide at Chartwell, you’ll help ensure our residents enjoy a comfortable and sanitary environment they can truly call home. Your attention to detail, commitment to quality, and care for our community will make a positive difference every day.

What You’ll Do

Clean, dust, and disinfect resident suites, including bedrooms, bathrooms, furniture, and kitchenettes

Maintain cleanliness in all common areas and offices

Collect and dispose of garbage safely and efficiently

Operate floor machines and robots

Keep utility and storage rooms organized, clean, and safe

Follow all health, safety, and infection prevention protocols

What You’ll Bring

Secondary School education or relevant experience

Previous housekeeping experience, ideally in a residential or healthcare setting

Strong teamwork and communication skills

A customer-focused mindset with a dedication to exceeding expectations

Ability to stay organized and maintain a safe, efficient work environment

Additional Requirements

Ability to work flexible hours as needed

Physical ability to meet job demands, including standing, bending, pushing, and pulling for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment

Preparedness to respond to emergency situations

Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
