Position Summary

The City of Timmins Facilities & Recreation Department is currently looking for temporary public skating attendants and cashiers for local arenas beginning in November for both weeknights and weekends (days and evenings).

Skating Attendant Duties

- Provide on-ice supervision
- Enforce public skating rules
- Respond to general public inquiries

Cashier Duties

- Collect public skating admissions
- Complete cash reports
- Respond to general public inquiries

Qualifications

- Proficient skater (skating attendant)
- Experience in handling cash (cashier)




- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Bilingualism is a definite asset
- Current First Aid/CPR certificate and WHMIS (an asset)
