1st Class After Class & Childcare is in search of a passionate Occupational Therapist to contribute to our early intervention program through collaborative and play-based methods. Work closely with children, educators, and families to ensure engaging therapeutic experiences.

In this in-house contracted position, your expertise will enable you to provide essential support through individualized therapy plans that integrate therapeutic goals with everyday activities. This role emphasizes building genuine relationships with children while also working as part of an interdisciplinary team. You will perform assessments and implement effective strategies to assist child development in various domains.

Key Responsibilities:



• Provide individual and small group therapy services • Participate actively in classroom play and routines • Conduct assessments across developmental domains • Collaborate on therapy plans with educators and families • Document therapy goals and progress professionally

Requirements: • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institute • Must be registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Alberta • Experience in pediatric therapy is strongly preferred • Positive communication skills for family and team interactions • Ability to adapt to a dynamic intervention environment
