Are you an experienced Associate Structural Engineer looking for a new challenge with a growing business?

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an Associate Structural Engineer to join an established engineering consultancy based in Enderby, Leicester.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of projects across the commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare and education sectors, with project values of up to £50 million.

The role offers the opportunity to take responsibility for structural design, manage projects and teams, and build strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.

Qualifications

Essential:

- BEng/MEng qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering

- Minimum 9 years’ post‑graduate experience

- Chartered or working towards chartership through IStructE or ICE





- Robust structural design experience and structural analysis skills

- Experience working with steel, concrete, timber and masonry

- Proficient in relevant engineering design software

- Excellent communication skills

- Full driving licence and own transport

Roles & Responsibilities

- Manage structural engineering design across a variety of projects

- Work on commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare and education projects

- Manage projects valued up to £50 million

- Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians

- Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines

- Produce accurate reports and project documentation

- Attend meetings and liaise with clients, consultants and contractors

- Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, clients and suppliers

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Provide technical input and support throughout the design process
