We are continuing to accept applications until a candidate is selected.QUALIFICATIONSCertification/Experience/Knowledge:Graduate of a Community College in the Medical Secretarial Course or equivalent requiredMedical Terminology Certificate requiredKeyboarding (45 wpm/95% accuracy) and Data Entry (6200 kph/95%accuracy) skills requiredSecretarial experience in a clinical setting requiredKnowledge of collective agreements, payroll entry experience requiredCurrent Meditech scheduling module experience requiredOrder entry experience requiredPrevious knowledge of eHealth/CritiCall/Perinatal database is an assetSkills/Abilities:Must be willing to cover all areas of Women/Children including paediatricsStrong organizational skills requiredPrevious registration of outpatients requiredAbility to transcribe Physician’s orders requiredExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written requiredExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all members of the health team requiredAbility to work with minimal supervision requiredMust demonstrate commitment to ensure your safety, the safety of fellow workers, patients, volunteers,
and visitorsMust support and contribute to a culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events in this organizationGood attendance and work record requiredBilingualism (Advanced level English/French) is required.
