The Opportunity: For our ARBORG, MANITOBA facility, we are seeking a CNC Machine Operator (Tube Laser) Afternoon Shift (Monday - Thursday 2PM-Midnight)

The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and producing quality parts using CNC manufacturing equipment.



The operator works from company plans, blueprints, work orders, and part specifications to ensure accurate production of components.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate tube laser equipment.

Load raw materials and verify proper machine setup prior to production.

Select, load, and run CNC programs according to production requirements.

Monitor machine operation and make routine adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.

Inspect parts using measuring tools and gauges to verify compliance with drawings and specifications.

Perform basic troubleshooting and report equipment, tooling, or quality issues.

Complete production documentation and quality records accurately.

Perform routine equipment maintenance and housekeeping tasks

Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.

Work collaboratively with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve production issues and improve processes.

Qualifications: A combination of education and experience will be considered.

Basic math skills

Ability to read a tape measure is considered an asset; experience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools is preferred.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and part specifications.

Comfortable working with common shop tools and equipment, including hand tools,



power tools, grinders, deburring tools, and lifting equipment.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete quality checks and identify defects or inconsistencies.

Post-Secondary education in CNC, CAD/CAM related field is not required but would be considered an asset.
