Our client in Kitchener is looking for two (2) Grinder/ Honers to join their team in a full time permanent role on Day Shift!

The Grinder/ Honer is responsible for finishing and refining internal surfaces of metal components to achieve precise dimensions, smooth finishes, and tight tolerances!

Required Skills:

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• 3+ years’ experience in Deburring or Finishing work with Hard Steel or Titanium
• Ability and experience using measuring tools such as calipers, line gauges and boring gauges.

Daily Duties:

• Finish parts using various tools such as grinders, buffers, and sanders as well as measuring equipment.
• Use ODS to determine how much material can be removed during the process.
• 5-S Activities
• Adheres to all Company policies and procedures,
  
  
  
  including H&S requirements.
• Perform other duties assigned by leadership.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and align job functions in a manner that maximizes efficiency and production.
• Experience with hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to interact with co-workers in a positive and professional manner adhering to all company policies, procedures and health and safety requirements.
