The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing community engagement under the supervision of the Recreation & Community Programs team. You will uphold safety standards during public sessions, assist patrons as needed, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all. Building strong relationships and demonstrating care are central to this part time position in Whitby.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist patrons during skating sessions
• Monitor flow and speed of skaters for safety
• Enforce admission policies and capacity limits




• Provide first aid and maintain accurate incident reports
• Support arena operations during events and games
Requirements:
• Minimum education requirement of Grade 10
• Current certification in First Aid and CPR/AED required
• Proficient in skating and knowledge of safety practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must provide a Criminal Record Check prior to employment
