Role Description

This is a full time, on-site role for an Executive Director based in Elliot Lake, ON. The Executive Director will oversee the daily operations of the organization, ensure program and service delivery aligns with the mission, and manage budgets and financial planning processes. They will also lead strategic planning, oversee staff, and support fundraising and community engagement initiatives. Furthermore, this role will involve collaborating with stakeholders, including board members, community partners,



and team members, to support the organization’s vision and goals.

Qualifications

- Leadership and Management skills, including team leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making
- Financial Management skills, such as budgeting, financial planning, and effective resource allocation
- Strong Communication abilities, including verbal, written, and public speaking skills
- Experience in Relationship Building and Networking with community stakeholders, partners, and donors
- Understanding of Non-Profit Management, including fundraising, grant writing, and program evaluation
- Proven ability to manage compliance with applicable regulations and organizational policies
- Adaptability in addressing challenges in a dynamic environment
- A post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Social Services, or a related field
- Experience working in a non-profit organization and knowledge of community support services is considered an asset
