As an Instructor, you will facilitate professional and engaging presentations focused on Leavitt’s mobile equipment products (such as forklifts and skid steers), for a diverse range of audiences and experience levels. The ideal candidate will demonstrate relevant product expertise and in-depth knowledge of instructor and training fundamentals and best practices.As the Equipment Training Instructor, your key responsibilities will include:Facilitate hands‑on equipment training sessions for groups or individuals at a variety of experience levels, from new equipment operators to in‑house instructors,



including external customers and internal employeesShare expertise on a variety of operating equipment product linesBuild strong relationships with customers and ensure their needs are understood and metWork closely with Sales team to ensure market strategies are implemented effectivelyMonitor equipment fleet inventories at a branch level and report deficiencies to the Operations Manager and/or Lead Instructor as neededRequired Skills & QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:Proven experience providing instruction and facilitating training in a group settingEquipment operation experience with at least one of the following: forklifts, aerial platforms, skid steers, loaders, excavators and/or cranesPost‑secondary education in a related field is preferredStrong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)WHMIS certification and Level 1 First Aid certificationUnderstanding of British Columbia legislative and regulatory framework relating to OH&SStrong skilled communication and interpersonal skillsSelf‑starter with the ability to work effectively independentlyEnergy Safety Canada Instructor Skills Development (ISD) designation or 3M Fall Protection Group Instructor Designation is an assetAbility to work a flexible, part time, schedule, including weekends, to accommodate customer schedules as required.Ability to travel within British ColumbiaA valid driver’s license and a reliable method of transportationThe base pay range for this role is: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour depending on experience level.This is acontract ,onsiterole based inCoquitlam, British Columbia .Leavitt Machinery & Leavitt Industrial Group would like to thank all applicants for their interest, however, only qualified applicants will be contacted by Talent Acquisition for an interview.
