Wage:

$48.13 per hour + benefits according to Union collective agreement (full-time position)

Location of Work:

Various locations across the Greater Toronto Area and Province of Ontario

Job Description:

- Concrete finishing, cutting and coring concrete
- Curing concrete, apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
- Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces, balconies and other structures
- Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
- Checking, setting forms that hold concrete in place
- Cleaning and inspecting surfaces for pouring issues
- Pouring, smoothing and leveling concrete using a rake, trowel, float and screed
- Operate power vibrator to compact concrete
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates in freshly poured concrete

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:





Physically demanding; bending, crouching, kneeling, etc.

Job Requirements:

- 3 years experience in concrete work
- Technical knowledge of concrete properties
- Ability to follow instructions
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Capable of working in a rapid-paced labour-intensive environmentMust be able to lift 50 lbs without strain
- Proficiency with hand/power tools to smooth, level, and cure surfaces
- Precision and attention to detail
- Punctual and willingness to work long hours and Saturdays if required
