The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for the accurate and timely movement of materials, equipment, and documentation to support shop operations and inventory control. This role performs shipping, receiving, inventory, and material-handling activities while maintaining safe work practices, organized storage areas, and accurate transaction records.

DAY IN THE LIFE:

Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including picking, packing, staging, loading, unloading, and preparing freight documentation

Receive, inspect, verify, label,



and distribute materials and equipment while identifying and escalating discrepancies or damage

Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment in compliance with HSE and site requirements

Process inventory transactions, maintain tracking records, replenish stock, and support cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy

Maintain organized, hazard-free work areas, communicate material status and priorities with stakeholders, and support overtime and on call requirements as needed

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

High school diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is an asset

1-2 years of experience in warehouse, shipping & receiving, logistics, or material - handling operations

Forklift certification (or the ability to obtain certification) and experience with inventory or warehouse management systems are assets

Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and material flow processes, with the ability to verify documentation and resolve discrepancies

Strong organizational, communication, and safety skills, with the ability to prioritize work, maintain accurate records, and collaborate effectively with warehouse, shop, yard, carrier, and office teams
