Millcroft Inn & Spa is currently seeking 1 Banquet Server to join our growing team! This is a outstanding opportunity that can provide flexibility, valuable work experience, and a chance to work with a tenured team.

Position Summary:

To serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner, following all service standards and contracted specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized and exceptional guest service at every given opportunity


• Meeting established up-selling and sales goals


• Must be available for Morning and Evening shifts on Weekdays and Weekends


• To set up function space as required in house and off-site following service guidelines


• Serving at both in house and off-site functions


• Disassemble at the end of each function and ensure that all equipment is returned to its proper place and polish all cutlery


• Keeps supply areas clean and organized


• Properly clean function rooms after groups leave and set for show


• Wipe down table bases and chairs following each function


• Reports to the Banquet Captain overseeing the function/event


• Having a thorough knowledge of Lais Hotel Properties products and services


• Suggesting additional product and services meeting our Guests specific preferences


• Assessing Guests individual needs to meet standards for additional products and services


• Actively seeking ways to meet Guests product or service needs






• All other duties as assigned

Professional Requirements:

• Experience in various types of service


• Experience in creative buffet set-ups


• Minimal beverage knowledge
