Supervise evening and weekend library operations at UNB Saint John. This role focuses on managing student assistants while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.

In this full-time, 10-month term position, you will be responsible for the Library Services Desk during peak hours at the Hans W. Klohn Commons. Your role will include providing essential support in research and technology while supervising and training student workers. Strong organizational skills and communication abilities will help you thrive in this workplace.

Key Responsibilities: • Manage Library Services Desk operations during evenings and weekends • Assist visitors with inquiries via phone, email,



and in person • Train student workers on circulation and shelving practices • Ensure library equipment is well-maintained and functional • Handle financial transactions and perform cash reconciliation

Requirements: • An undergraduate degree or library technology diploma is required • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required • Proficient in communication and computer usage • Capable of independently managing library tasks • Attention to detail in executing administrative responsibilities
