About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Commercial Attorney to join their practice in Kimberley . This role is perfect for a newly admitted or junior lawyer looking to gain extensive experience in commercial law, including contract drafting, corporate governance, and business advisory services. You will support senior attorneys on a variety of matters, contributing to the firm’s commitment to providing excellent legal services to businesses across the Northern Cape. Key Responsibilities

- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and amending commercial contracts and agreements.
- Conduct legal research on commercial law issues and prepare legal opinions.
- Support senior attorneys in corporate transactions and company secretarial functions.
- Help manage client portfolios and ensure timely delivery of legal services.
- Assist in dispute resolution processes and preparing for litigation or arbitration.




- Maintain organized client files and ensure compliance with firm procedures.

Requirements

- Admitted Attorney with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience in commercial or corporate law.
- Solid understanding of South African contract law and company law principles.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in standard office software and legal research platforms.
- A keen interest in business law and a client-focused approach.
