Step into the onsite Privacy Advisor role at LCBO in Toronto, where you'll guide privacy compliance and risk management efforts. This 12-month contract is focused on supporting internal teams.
Reporting to the Director, Privacy & Access, your work will ensure compliance with FIPPA and assist staff in understanding privacy standards. You will be responsible for conducting audits, providing advisory support, and continuously assessing privacy protocols across corporate programs. Your experience will help facilitate communication with relevant privacy authorities and support exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Communicate effective privacy practices to staff
• Conduct privacy audits and risk assessments
• Develop and lead training initiatives on compliance




• Monitor legal obligations related to personal information
• Liaise with Information and Privacy Commissioner’s Office
Requirements:
• At least 2 years of experience in privacy or related discipline
• Degree or certification in Privacy, Information Management, or similar
• Excellent organization and interpersonal skills
• Capability to handle complex issues
• Knowledge of the retail sector is an asset
