CNC Machinist -Manufacturing

Shifts Available:

- Biweekly day/afternoon rotation or
- Straight midnights

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate a variety of CNC and conventional machines
- Machine precision components to exact specifications
- Operate vertical and horizontal milling machines, flat bed lathes, gap bed lathes, and complex multi-axis mill-turn machines
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions
- Verify completed work using precision measuring and inspection equipment




- Run multiple machines concurrently when required
- Troubleshoot machining and production issues

Qualifications:

- General Machinist Certification (Red Seal an asset) or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of tight-tolerance high-precision machining experience
- Proven experience setting up and operating CNC machinery
- Strong understanding of G-Code programming
- Experience with Renishaw probing systems, probing routines, and macros
- Solid understanding of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Experience using precision inspection tools including micrometers, verniers, thread gauges, height gauges, and surface plates

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Fanuc, Mazatrol, Tosnuc, and Siemens 840D controls
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Standard Work, and 5S principles
