Support Staff – Academic Upgrading TeamPosting Closing Date: June 4, 2026 | Campus Location: London, ON | Department: CDB1 | Employment Group: Support | Pay Details: CAD $34.60–$39.93 per hour | Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.M. – 4:30 p.M., occasional evenings and weekends.ResponsibilitiesAssist students in academic upgrading programs by facilitating learning and related activities as prescribed by program curriculum.Demonstrate, support, and explain the application of theory to students according to prescribed skills and objectives in the program curriculum, following faculty instruction.Plan, organize, and facilitate workshops (e.G., digital literacy, orientation, math booster and community‑requested workshops).Provide remedial assistance.Develop learner training plans with applicants/students and track milestones and outcomes in systems and databases per provincial guidelines.Facilitate practical skills in small groups, class, and individual activities.Attend and participate in operational and academic meetings for problem‑solving and the development of procedures.Review and support literacy, numeracy, and employability skills of students using a variety of diagnostic tools.Schedule and invigilate student assessment sessions.Liaise with faculty, students, community agencies, and other college departments for referral purposes.Conduct weekly outreach to Employment Ontario services within the City of London.Maintain an annual planning cycle calendar to ensure action items are not overlooked.Monitor program success with a student success plan.Monitor student attendance in accordance with program requirements, follow up on disengagement,
