This opportunity offers the chance to oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring tenant improvements, capital projects, and building upgrades are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Working within a collaborative commercial real estate environment, you'll partner closely with property management, maintenance teams, consultants, contractors, and tenants to bring projects to life. From tenant fit-ups to large-scale capital improvements, your expertise will have a direct impact on maintaining and enhancing a portfolio of more than one million square feet of industrial, office, flex, and retail properties.

Your Responsibilities

- You'll oversee tenant fit-up projects, reviewing proposed plans, providing feasibility feedback, and managing smaller projects from start to finish.
- You'll act as the on-site representative for larger tenant improvements, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and tenant project teams.
- You'll supervise capital improvement projects, including roofing, asphalt, concrete, windows, doors, and major HVAC replacements.
- You'll support capital planning by assisting with project scopes, budgets, consultant coordination,



and reviewing construction drawings and specifications.
- You'll manage common area improvement projects, including washroom renovations, flooring, lighting, and cosmetic upgrades.
- You'll provide construction expertise to support maintenance teams, overseeing complex building repairs involving electrical, plumbing, and building envelope systems.

Skills and Qualifications

- 5+ years of progressive experience supervising commercial construction, renovation, or capital improvement projects.
- Solid knowledge of commercial building systems, construction methods, and tenant improvement projects.
- Experience coordinating contractors, consultants, and multiple project stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across a large property portfolio.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
