Become a vital part of Kids & Company as a Daycare Kitchen Assistant. This part time role focuses on food preparation and supporting daily cooking operations.
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will work closely with the Centre Director and Cook while adhering to safety and sanitation practices. Your role is pivotal in delivering meals and maintaining a clean kitchen. You'll help create a healthy environment that supports children's growth through nutrition.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve meals to classrooms on time
• Assist in food preparation and kitchen organization
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and equipment
• Collect used utensils and serving materials
• Support inventory organization and food safety compliance
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years in a kitchen role
• High School diploma or GED needed
• Current Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
