Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide range of equipment, including:

CNC machines

Melting furnaces

Overhead cranes





Hydraulic systems and pneumatic tools

Casting machinery and auxiliary equipment

Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.

Fabricate parts using welding techniques (MIG, TIG); modify or create custom components as needed.

Conduct routine inspections, adjust machinery and document maintenance activities.

Respond to emergency breakdowns quickly and efficiently - day or night, weekday or weekend, when required. (Additional)

Assist in the design and execution of custom jigs, fixtures, safety guards, and machine upgrades.

What You Bring:

Red Seal Journeyperson Millwright Certificate(or equivalent trade certification) is considered an asset.

Proven experience inequipment maintenance and repairin an industrial or manufacturing setting is considered an asset.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail is considered an asset.

Standard tool set available.

Understandingof hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including troubleshooting pumps, valves, and cylinders.

Must be physically able to lift up to 40 lbs of equipment and work in tight or elevated spaces.
