Contribute significantly to research at the University of Alberta as an in-person Research Assistant in Edmonton. Work closely with the Principal Investigator to advance NSERC project goals.
This one-year term position is based on North Campus and involves participating actively in research activities. Your responsibilities include collecting experimental data, keeping accurate lab records, labeling and storing samples, and supporting lab safety and overall organization efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with the collection of experimental data
• Maintain detailed records of laboratory experiments
• Support in labeling and properly storing samples
• Reinforce safety measures within the lab environment
• Keep the laboratory organized and productive
Requirements:
• Current internal applicant of the University of Alberta
• Understanding of laboratory research concepts
• Detail-oriented approach to work and documentation
• Organized mindset suitable for lab environments
• Ability to follow instructions from project supervisors
