As a part-time temporary Recreation Aide, you will work closely with the Recreation Manager to implement diverse programs that address residents' interests and needs. A background in senior care and certifications such as First Aid are crucial for delivering protected and engaging services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate in developing recreation service programs
• Promote social events and recreational activities
• Document residents’ participation and any concerns
• Coordinate volunteer activities within the community
• Assist residents in joining various programs
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education and recreation diploma preferred
• Experience in a senior living environment a plus
• Valid First Aid Level 1 Certification
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written
• Class 4 BC Driver’s License
