K-Bro Linen System Inc. operates a large, modern, commercial laundry facility located in Mississauga. We are looking for order packers in the cart makeup department. We offer stable, long-term employment with excellent growth opportunities in a friendly work environment.

Work Location: 6045 Freemont Blvd, Mississauga ON

Rate of Pay: $19.10/ hr.

Shift: All production workers work 4 days a week with 3 days off. Shift starts at 8:00AM (schedule to be assigned based on department needs)

Responsibilities

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Main Responsibility

- Fill carts based on order slips.
- Create pick slips by scanning cart into the computer and verify quotas through counting and use of the touch screens.




- Pull carts onto scale and scan them with hand scanner to ensure the weight and unit is captured by the reading monitor.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability :

- Interpersonal skills, team player
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to distinguish linen differences such as colour, size and texture
- Onsite training offered.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

- This position is located in a production plant workplace, and the work requires continual physical effort all day such as lifting, pushing and pulling of carts that could weigh up to a maximum of 399 lb.
- Constant exposure to low level noise from machines in the plant.
- Constant exposure to lint/dust particles in the air.
- Constant exposure to Cold, humidity and heat.
