CHARCO Sécurité is looking for motivated, versatile, and reliable security guards who are available to work on-call for a variety of assignments in the Shawinigan area.

Description of assignments:

- Corporate and commercial security : Preventive rounds, access control, customer service — tasks vary depending on the company’s needs.
- Event security : Ensure the safety of participants and the site during festivals, shows, and other public events.
- Detainee monitoring (in partnership with the Sûreté du Québec) : Camera surveillance with no direct contact. You will alert the SQ in case of suspicious behavior. The only contact with the detainee occurs during meal delivery, through a small window in the cell door, with no physical interaction.

What we offer:

- Salary : starting at $21.00/hour + premiums depending on the assignment
- Hours :



up to 40 hours/week depending on needs
- Schedule : day, evening, night shifts – from Monday to Sunday
- Status : on-call , ideal for candidates who are flexible and available

Requirements:

- Valid security guard license
- Valid first aid certification
- Excellent command of French (spoken and written)
- Clear criminal record and ability to pass a thorough background check
- Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for long periods (4 to 12 hours)
- Ability to write detailed reports (hourly during the day, every 30 minutes at night)
- Solid customer service skills
