List of Requirements Assumption School is seeking a teacher (0.8 FTE – 4 days/week) for the a maternity leave until September 2027.
Preference will be given to candidates who:
Have a current pastoral reference that they are active in a Catholic parish, or demonstrate that they are willing to be respectful of the Catholic faith
Have a certificate of qualification issued by the BC Ministry of Education
Are committed to excellence in Catholic education
Have experience differentiating instruction and working with students with a variety needs
Demonstrate a positive and caring approach to students
Show exceptional communication skills
Demonstrate excellent teamwork abilities
Demonstrate a willingness to provide extra-curricular opportunities for students
List of Duties
The successful applicant will work collaboratively with other staff members as well as have experience working with a diverse range of learners and have a passion for teaching.
