Contribute to community wellness as a Kinesiologist at John W. Lindsay YMCA. Focus on program development and participant support within the Live Well initiative.

In this part time fixed-term position, you will provide leadership in the Live Well program, promoting health and fitness to enhance the lives of individuals in your community. Responsibilities include participant assessments, program oversight, and recruitment of volunteers.

This role is critical in ensuring individuals receive tailored pathways to achieve their fitness and wellness goals, with potential for full time hours based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead YMCA's Live Well service and program coordination
Develop pathways for participants transitioning into fitness programs




Assess program outcomes and recommend changes
Conduct participant health screenings and fitness evaluations
Promote Live Well services to the broader community

Requirements:
University degree in Kinesiology or related area
Required certifications in personal training or group fitness
Solid organizational and interpersonal skills
Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends
Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools
