Be a pivotal part of Thunder Bay’s administration as a Municipal Licensing Officer, ensuring compliance and efficiency in licensing programs. Work directly with the community in a role focused on customer engagement and regulatory adherence. Under the guidance of the Manager - Legislative Services, this position is dedicated to managing municipal licensing and lottery programs.

You will review applications, maintain compliance with AGCO requirements, and interact with the public to deliver skilled service. Solid organizational and customer service skills will be key to your success in this impactful position. Key Responsibilities:
Manage submissions for business and lottery licenses
Interpret municipal regulations for applicants




Conduct compliance audits and follow up as necessary
Liaise with organizations and internal departments
Maintain financial records related to licensing activities Requirements:
Diploma in Administration, Business, or Legal fields
Three years of related experience required
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work under deadlines
Familiarity with the Occupational Health & Safety Act Use your administrative skills to foster a well-regulated community at the City of Thunder Bay.
