Become a vital Technical Resource at Vancouver Island Health Authority, focusing on point of care testing support across multiple locations. Engage in this full time role that involves travel. As a Technical Resource, reporting to the Technical Coordinator, you will deliver technical guidance and educational support to point of care operators.

Your tasks will encompass maintaining quality programs, interpreting testing results, and conducting necessary laboratory evaluations, all while traveling to different sites regularly. Key Responsibilities:
Educate operators on technical procedures and methods
Manage quality assurance and device data compliance
Perform evaluations and interpret laboratory results
Carry out routine and additional lab duties as required
Ensure effective support during travel between sites Requirements:
Familiarity with laboratory procedures and techniques
Competency assessment certification from CAMLPR or CSMLS
Robust written and verbal communication abilities
Capacity to work independently in a team setting
