Our client is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join its team based at Luxstowe House in Liskeard. This role involves supporting individuals across East Cornwall, delivering high-quality assessments and interventions while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will:
Complete Mental Capacity Assessments
Undertake Section 42 safeguarding enquiries
Carry out strengths and needs assessments
Develop and review care and support plans
Participate in court work where required
Manage and prioritise a wide-ranging caseload to meet deadlines
Conduct face-to-face visits within the East Cornwall area

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have:
Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration
Proven experience in adult social care
Strong assessment and safeguarding experience
Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines efficiently
Access to a car and ability to travel within the region
Availability for a minimum of 2 days per week for face-to-face visits (remaining work can be completed remotely)





Working Arrangements:
Minimum 2 days per week in office for visits
Remaining work can be completed remotely
