Lead student engagement as a Lab Instructor in Visual Communication and Media Design at the University of Regina. This role combines teaching with cutting-edge design practices.

This appointment for a one-year term begins January or July 2027 in the Faculty of Media, Art, and Performance. We seek passionate educators who bring experience in studio environments and a dedication to fostering inclusion in design education.

Your multidisciplinary approach will augment our unique programs.

Key Responsibilities:
Teach a total of 7 undergraduate design courses
Facilitate lab, lecture, and online sessions
Collaborate on course syllabi and artistic projects
Advocate for diversity within academic practices
Engage with community for creative initiatives

Requirements:
MA, MFA, MDES, or PhD degree related to design
Extensive university-level studio teaching experience
Portfolio showcasing qualified creative work
Effective communication and engagement skills
Understanding of community and social practices in art
