Mechanical Engineer (Analysis & Validation)Primary Purpose

Perform engineering analysis and validation activities to ensure designs meet structural, thermal, fatigue, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Suggested Responsibilities
Perform advanced engineering calculations supporting mechanical system and equipment designs.
Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) including structural, thermal, fatigue, vibration, and stability assessments.
Develop analytical models and validate simulation results through hand calculations and testing.
Establish design criteria, safety factors, and engineering assumptions for recent product development.
Prepare engineering reports documenting methodologies, calculations, results, conclusions, and recommendations.
Lead technical design reviews and provide engineering recommendations for design optimization.
Evaluate compliance with applicable codes,



standards, and regulatory requirements.
Investigate product failures, root causes, and corrective actions.
Support prototype testing programs and correlate test data with analytical predictions.
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to improve product performance and reliability.
Provide technical mentoring and guidance to junior engineers and designers.
Review and approve engineering calculations and technical analyses as delegated by the Engineering Manager.
