Job Title: DZ Driver - Local Deliveries

Pay: $25/hr

Shifts: Monday - Friday

Hours: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Location: Vars, ON

We're actively seeking DZ Truck Drivers with 2 years of experience to deliver sanitation products in the Ottawa, ON area. This role includes 90% hand bombing, and you will be communicating directly with customers daily. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and use electric jiggers and hand carts.

Responsibilities:
Delivering to schools and daycares within the Greater Ottawa Metropolitan Area and surrounding areas.
Loading and unloading stock in a secure manner for protected, damage-free transportation.
90% hand bombing deliveries, with use of electric jiggers and hand carts.
Verifying all orders at the time of delivery and delivering orders to meet customer specifications.
Ensuring equipment and truck are in good working condition through adherence to delivery maintenance procedures.
Familiarity with the completion of delivery registers and paperwork to ensure stock is accounted for.
Able to work extended hours, which may be required from time to time.




Must be flexible regarding work hours.

Qualifications:
Current TDG/WHMIS knowledge would be considered an asset.
Ability to use power loading equipment.
Familiarity with ISO policies and procedures would be considered an asset.
Positive interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member.
Be able to work in a fast-paced setting.
Strong attention to detail.
Positive decision-making skills and ability to work independently.
Able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
DZ license with a minimum of two years of tractor-trailer driving experience is required.
