Job Summary and Qualifications: The Ambulatory Mental Health RN will be a member of the interprofessional team providing assessment, care, and treatment in Psychiatry. In collaboration with other team members, the nurse will provide psychosocial support and counselling through regular, patient centred follow up. In addition they role may include assisting neuromodulation team with assessment, coordination and application of various treatment in the clinics. This includes application of energy for rTMS, assisting with application and recovery of ECT, administers and assess effectiveness of treatments and medication. Provides quality follow up education and counselling to clients between and during treatments, collects and submits required monthly statistical data ensuring accuracy.



Functions within an interdisciplinary team assisting with conducting mental status evaluations, collects collateral information, provides follow up counselling, and facilitates referrals and sourcing of outpatient and community resources.
