Join Richmond Hill's Community Services as a Skating Instructor and deliver engaging skating programs! This part-time role enhances community wellness through safe, fun, and skill-building lessons for participants of all ages.
You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising instructional ice skating programs. This includes maintaining participant safety, delivering feedback, and effectively communicating with participants and volunteers alike. Your involvement helps create an inclusive atmosphere for everyone on the ice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage and supervise participants in skating activities
• Develop and organize lesson plans tailored for age groups
• Ensure participant safety and preparedness at all times




• Collaborate with volunteers and integrate them into programs
• Complete administrative tasks and reports on time
Requirements:
• Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification mandatory
• At least 1 year of related experience mandatory
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work a versatile schedule including evenings
• Successful completion of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check
