Elevate operational safety as a Senior Process Safety Engineer in the Northern Cape. Focus on risk assessment and process safety management in a hybrid working workplace. Our client is on the lookout for a Senior Process Safety Engineer to join their team.

This role is critical in identifying and mitigating process-related risks in oil and gas facilities. You will develop safety management programs, conduct hazard analyses, and ensure adherence to relevant industry standards while collaborating with engineering teams. Key Responsibilities:
Perform Process Hazard Analyses, including HAZOP and LOPA
Create and uphold Process Safety Management programs
Review and advise on facility design for process safety
Lead investigations into safety incidents and near misses
Deliver training on process safety best practices Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years of process safety engineering experience
Robust knowledge of PHA methodologies and risk assessment
Understanding of relevant industry standards (e.g., API)
