Work with the Montana Department of Transportation as a Highway Maintenance Technician, focusing on equipment operation and truck driving in Rogers Pass. This is a full time, hands-on position. MDT is looking for a Highway Maintenance Technician to perform essential maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities include operating various trucks and heavy machinery, snow control, and critical repairs to highways and roadside areas. This role offers career advancement opportunities, promoting growth within the transportation sector. Key Responsibilities:
Operate trucks and heavy equipment efficiently
Conduct snow and ice management on highways
Perform roadway repairs and vegetation care
Install and maintain traffic signs and guardrails
Handle culvert installation and other maintenance tasks Requirements:
Valid Montana Commercial Operators License (Class A)
Three years of relevant experience in road maintenance
Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate required
Ability to work various shifts
Must live within 45 road miles of Rogers Pass Bring your CDL and passion for highway maintenance to MDT and help keep Montana roads protected and productive.
